About TEConcept GmbH – The Company, the Team, and Our Partners

With a focus on electronics development, the engineering firm TEConcept GmbH was founded in 2005 in Vörstetten near Freiburg im Breisgau with the aim of providing technical development services for industrial and commercial customers. In 2015, the subsidiary TEConcept Hungary Kft was established in Szeged, Hungary. Since 2023, TEConcept GmbH has been part of Hafner Beteiligungen GmbH.

Our strengths – more than technical development

Since 2013, our focus has been on IO-Link—the IEC 61131-9 compliant point-to-point communication protocol. TEConcept has been proactively contributing to its further development for many years, as reflected for example in our role as an IO-Link Competence Center and Test Center. Today, we support customers worldwide with innovative solutions in industrial communication.

End-to-end development process

We approach development from a systems perspective. That is why we combine consulting, software development, hardware design, test procedures and documentation into an interlocking process. This saves time, costs, and unnecessary interfaces.
