Our Development
With a focus on electronics development, the engineering firm TEConcept GmbH was founded in 2005 in Vörstetten near Freiburg im Breisgau with the aim of providing technical development services for industrial and commercial customers. In 2015, the subsidiary TEConcept Hungary Kft was established in Szeged, Hungary. Since 2023, TEConcept GmbH has been part of Hafner Beteiligungen GmbH.

To meet the high demands of modern electronics development, TEConcept relies not only on expertise, but also on a well-coordinated team with deep technical knowledge, strong methodology, and industry experience—focused on IO-Link system integration through development tools and direct, personal project support. Since 2013, our focus has been on IO-Link—the IEC 61131-9 compliant point-to-point communication protocol. TEConcept has been proactively contributing to its further development for many years, as reflected for example in our role as an IO-Link Competence Center and Test Center.
