IO-Link Device Tester
As a condition for using the IO-Link word and figurative mark, the IO-Link community requires that every manufacturer who brings an IO-Link device to market submits a manufacturer’s declaration confirming the successful completion of the prescribed conformity tests.
Protocol tests, in particular, are very complex and practically impossible to perform without appropriate test equipment.
The TEConcept Device Tester has been reviewed and recommended by the IO-Link Quality Working Group. The test system largely automates all protocol tests. Besides the Device IODD, only a few manual settings are required for performing the protocol test, which largely runs autonomously.
The Device Tester is powered by 24V DC, and the device is connected via an M12 connector. Control is performed using PC software.
The tests themselves are defined by included XML files. Users can add their own tests, such as range checks for parameters.
